Refund policy
Online purchases
We have a 21-day return policy, which means you have 21 days from the date of purchase of your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. We will offer a refund for any faulty items or if you received the wrong item. Under the Australian Consumer Law, merchants do not have to accept a return if you simply change your mind. However, we want you to enjoy your purchase. So, if your are not entirely happy we offer a store credit or exchange on full priced items
To start a return, you can contact us at margaret@therugbyshop.com.au to request a return. All returns should be sent with a tracking number. Returned items lost in the post are not the responsibility of The Rugby Shop. Please note we are located in Darwin and regular mail takes 5 business days to reach us, otherwise Express Post is 2 days. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
If you believe your item is faulty please send clear photo(s) of fault to shop@therugbyshop.com.au with a brief description and the receipt number. We will then contact you to notify you of the status of your refund or exchange.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Returns policy for purchases in our retail store
For purchases made in our Darwin store, we do not offer refunds for "change of mind". However, we are happy to exchange or issue a store credit for items returned within 14 days of purchase (this does not include "sale" items). Returned items must still be in the same condition as purchased with original tags still in place and proof of purchase must be presented.
